Each state has a court rule to be followed governed by the operations of its courts and, for many a states, the rules are published as part of their statutes or codes. Some court rules are created by the legislature as statutes and some by the direction of the court. However, the publication approaches vary in each State.

Jury service is an obligation of citizenship. Jurors assist in the maintenance of law and order to uphold justice in the society. The law for the Jury again vary from State to State.
